I don't know what they were thinking, but after using Vicks Sinex 12-Hour nasal spray for decades, it has stopped working. I thought originally I purchased a placebo. There was no effect nor was there any relieve with the replacement item offered by my retailer.
The original formulation was quick and effective. So of course, it needed to be changed. And changed for the worse.
When I contacted the firm about the problem, they issued only a canned (insulting) response without any personalized service. When I responded to thie "email", it was ignored.
Would I ever buy another product from Vicks? Not on your life. Have I dissuaded more than 10 people from buying the Vicks products? You betcha.
Guys, when you make a change, do NOT stonewall. Admit that there was a change. And tell us in straight terms if we could ever expect to get the "real thing" again. Not hard to do, but apparently to hard for you.
Please display my comments. They will help others make an informed decision. And I will continue to truthfully inform everyone I come into contact with about your underhanded tactics and refusal to explaing anything to a customer. Shame on you.
