Not As Good As it Used to Be

I have been purchasing this product on a regular basis for 20 years. I have noticed in the past 6 months it is not the same. The product does not dispense well. It doesn't come out like it used to and it definitely does not last 12 hours. I spend good money for this and I am extremely disappointed in whatever changes have been made to the product and dispensing lately. If you don't make some positive changes, I will have to go to another brand. I hate that. I like to stick with one product, but I can't waste my money like that. The last one I purchased will have to be thrown out. It won't dispense at all.

I have been useing vicks all my life. It WAS a great product.Ever since you had a bacteria problem in your 12 hour nasal spray and removed it from the market you left a very very very poor product in it's place. Remove the problem. Bring back the original formula with real vicks vapors in it. You will satisfy a multidute of the public again. My family has stopped buying the replacemnt nasal spray. I am 60 and have used vicks products all my life every day. I have dry membrane. This product is so bad and ineffective I am trying different nasel sprays. No one is stocking the spray or mist with phenylephrine in my town and I have tried everwhere. Vicks has always been a good product and I hate to see it go down.

Nothing else works for me, absolutely nothing. I suffer from daily allergy symptoms and constant sinus congestion. While I do not use this everyday, because it can be harmful, it helps when my congestion becomes unbearable. It doesn't just help, it clears it up within 5 minutes. I don't believe it has ever worked for 12 hours, but even an hour of relief is good enough to at least get some rest when you are suffering with congestion.

New Formula Doesn't Work

I have had chronic sinus problems for years. There are days I would not have been able to breath if not for Sinex - The old Sinex. This new formula just does not work. I might as well be using saline. I sure hope this is like the failed experiment of switching to New Coke. Please bring the real Sinex 12 hour Spray back! I have never even heard why the switch was made.

For many years I have used Vicks Sinex 12 hour nasal spray as it was the only spray that effectively reduced inflammation in my nasal passages. Now it is changed to vapo spray and no longer is effective. Why was this changed?

Bad decision to change product

Why did the camphor, eucalyptus and menthol disappear to be replaced by "fragrance, citric acid, sodium citrate. ad naseum" ? The main ingredient (oxymetazoline HCl) is still there, but it does not work as well without the three aforementioned ingredients. Since the original Vicks SINEX 12 hour nasal spray retailed for slightly less than $2,000.00 a gallon, how much does camphor, eucalyptus and menthol cost?

I like the old Vicks Sinex 12 hour formula. It was a kick-butt, open sinus formula that got the job done. The new formula seems weak. I don't feel the quick relief.

Completely Ineffective After "Improvement"

I don't know what they were thinking, but after using Vicks Sinex 12-Hour nasal spray for decades, it has stopped working. I thought originally I purchased a placebo. There was no effect nor was there any relieve with the replacement item offered by my retailer.
The original formulation was quick and effective. So of course, it needed to be changed. And changed for the worse.
When I contacted the firm about the problem, they issued only a canned (insulting) response without any personalized service. When I responded to thie "email", it was ignored.
Would I ever buy another product from Vicks? Not on your life. Have I dissuaded more than 10 people from buying the Vicks products? You betcha.
Guys, when you make a change, do NOT stonewall. Admit that there was a change. And tell us in straight terms if we could ever expect to get the "real thing" again. Not hard to do, but apparently to hard for you.
Please display my comments. They will help others make an informed decision. And I will continue to truthfully inform everyone I come into contact with about your underhanded tactics and refusal to explaing anything to a customer. Shame on you.

the picture above shows the box the way it used to be, & then it was great. I always knew that I could get relief when my allegeries acted up. the redon stuff that is out ther know is not as good. It won't relieve nothing. It is more expensive but less effective. I would have bought up alot of theold version if I had known that it was going to be redone I thought that vicks of all companies was going to leave this product alone.
