Worst Medicine Ever

I took it cause I had a runny nose/sneezing.
Well then I woke up the next day which was Thursday
With a fever of 102.4
And A really bad dry cough.
I had a stuffy nose and I wasn't feeling quite good.
So I stayed home and went to school on Friday.
I'm sitting here; SICK. Writing this.
Stupid Medicine.
I hate it.
It smells AND tastes like Bubbles.
I wanna take it but just looking at it; Makes me wanna barf.
Well then I woke up the next day which was Thursday

I have tried this product and I took a double dose and still no relief I have given it 2 days and a whole bottle and received absolutely no relief DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

This without a doubt is the best cold medicine available! It relieves my cough and runny nose for 5-6 hours so that I can get some rest when I'm sick. I always get a terrible cough with a cold, and nothing else works to quiet it at night like NyQuil does! It's such a relief to know that I can trust it to always work!!

When I take NyQuil Liquid, I can almost instantly start to feel my running nose, cough, sneezing, fever, etc melt away. I can then sleep soundly for the next 5 hours! Its great, I wouldnt choose anything else when I have a cold.

I've never been a fan of the green flavor, but have been using the cherry flavor for years. Now they've changed it and it makes me gag. I don't like the new menthol flavor and I think I'll have to find something else to take when I'm sick.

You tried to baffle consumers with this version of Nyquil You returned with the great product under the name of Nyquil D, but you did NOT market it. Do you think consumers are stupid? This product does NOT work. Nyquil D works but you have decided to no longer manufacture it. WHY????? This was absolutely, positively the best and only product on the market that worked. I have been loyal to Procter and Gamble and you have lost my business, is all aspects of your business.
Bring Nyquil D back and let consumers know it is behind the pharmacy counter! You NEVER marketed it and because of this you lost a customer for life.

I hate the new taste... this is the worst mistake since the New Coke... I swear it was a great product, but the taste which was of licorice was one thing... this taste is like an awful medicine... so who ever thought of change the taste for the better... FIRE THEM .. because this is the last 5.00 bottle of this ... i will buy...

I recently suffered from a cold and was recommended from a friend to take Nyquil. I was able to sleep through the night without coughing or sneezing, and woke up refreshed. I can't beleive I haven't heard about how great this product is from a friend sooner. I will recommend to anyone!

This used to be the ONLY thing that would help me sleep with a cold. I ask for the NyQuil D behind the counter being assured it's the OLD NyQuil but it can't be. This new one doesn't "help you rest" anymore! What is missing? What happened to this product? Now I'm shopping other brands. I'm not going to choke down the green death flavor AND not get relief. No. Bring back OLD NyQuil...whatever that was.

Ever since Vicks reformulated Nyquil it hasn't worked. I realize that the idiots in congress are worried about pseudoephedrine, but there is no reason to punish the rest of us. Ever since the new formulation came out, it has done nothing for me. It does not have a decongestant. All it does now is make you sleepy.

Nyquil use to be the one and only that I would use, but since they redid the base formula, it is not as effective. Takes more then the recommended dosage to even get the edge off.

Missing Pseudoephedrine

I've been a big fan of VICKS NyQuil for years, especially in its power to fight nasal congestion. However, after getting sick recently, I had to purchase a new bottle. I was disappointed that it could not relieve my severe nasal congestion. I assumed that I must of had some form of virus that produced symptoms that NyQuil was not effective against. Out of desperation a popped a pill from a competitor containing Pseudoepedrine and within 20 minutes my symptoms were gone. Curious, I did some research on line and read about the Pseudoephedrine controversy and how VICKS was forced to removed it from their OTC products due to changes in the law a few years ago.
Fortunately, I discovered that VICKS offers NyQuil D from behind the counter with the original formula containing Pseudoepedrine which I will try next time I get sick. My advice, if your major symptons include nasal congestion, go through the trouble of asking the pharmacist for NyQuil D. This curremt forumula of Nyquil does does absolutely nothing noticeable for nasal congestion (my most annoying symptom) and therefore not worth the money. In the meantime, having paid already paid for a bottle NyQuil, I'm supplementing my NyQuil doses with Pseudoephedrine pills. VICKS should really advertise their NyQuil D product better, I had no idea it existed until I checked wikipedia (I couldn't even find it on their website).
On the plus side, their new "soothing cherry flavor" really does test better then ever. I'd pour it over ice cream if I could.
