I use DayQuil when I first start to feel the symptons of a cold (slight sore throat, nasal congestion, and headache). Usually after a day of use, my symptons are gone and I avoid catching a cold altogether. The key is taking it early.

Well, to be quite honest, the "generic" brand was somewhat cheaper than this product; however, I have always liked using Vick's products, so I purchased these...the product worked okay, initially, but caused nausea and wore off in less than four hours despite having taken the recommended dose. Kind of a waste of money, if you ask me.

It's what I had on hand; it helps relieve a bit of the annoyance that cold symptoms present. Like most OTC meds, 4 hours just doesn't seem to be long enough!

I thought it did a great job. Headache, stuffy, sore throat. Took about 15 minutes to kick in but felt better the rest of the day.

I used this product for 7 days straight trying to get rid of nasal congestion and a cough because i had sports games to play in...this product did nothing to help what-so-ever and it made my throat more sore from swallowing those horsepills.

This is truly the most useless product and I question how products like this are able to be sold. It does absolutely nothing of what it claims to do- at no point in time after taking it did I feel any relief of my congestion or coughing symptoms. I have a typical cold, 2-3 days into its course, the perfect time for this product, as advertised, to work. But it does nothing. I would never recommend it and honestly think it is terrible that people pay for products as useless as this.
BTW, this is the first time i have commented on any product I have used. But because I had such a negative experience with it, I felt like I had to say something,
